The recommended daily amount of sleep is 8 hours. Many of us barely manage that, but if you’re also training hard and dieting the importance of that recommended daily amount of sleep is far more than just a regular person. Your muscle growth occurs during sleep, not just that, but it begins when you’re in a deep state of sleep. So catching just a couple of hours per night is simply not enough time to let your body get it’s job done before you wake up and repeat it all over again.
