Why do we use fear? And what happens when fear meets love? This is one chapter of the film the Power of Love that will be released by December 2007.

Verónica´s life passion is to sow seeds of love, condifence and knowlegde in the world. She became interested in the subject of success inspired by Jack Canfield (America´s Success Coach and featured teacher of teh movie “The Secret” ), and found that the answer to overcome Fear and have Success is to focus on Unconditional Love towards ourselves.

Verónica de Andrés is an educator, speaker and author specialized in personal growth and motivation. She holds a “Master of Arts in Education with Distinction” from Oxford Brookes University, England. For the last 20 years she has dedicated herself to the study and research of motivation, self esteem and effective learning, being trained and working with the most prestigious teachers at a global level in these fields. Jack Canfield, (America´s Success Coach) has been her mentor and trainer and she has presented with him at big international conferences. In the self-esteem and motivation, she was trained by Nathaniel Branden (author of the Six Pillars of self esteem) and Bob Reasoner, founding father of the International Council for Self-esteem. Today Verónica is an Executive Member of the Council.

As a key note presenter at international seminars and conferences, Verónica has delivered presentations with Daniel Goleman (author of Emotional Intelligence), Peter Salovey (dean of the University of Yale) and Annie McKee (author of Resonant Leadership)
Verónica has delivered more than 200 seminars in English, Spanish and French to companies and top educational organizations in the five continents: America, Europe, Middle East, Australia & New Zealand and recently, in Africa. Dr Sulman also undertook a study of “weather sensitive” volunteers and showed that, during the time of the Sharav winds, their bodies would produce up to ten times their normal level of serotonin – a hormone associated with stress. He found that, in effect, they were being poisoned by their own serotonin, causing migraines, hot flushes, irritability, pains around the heart, difficulty in breathing and a worsening of bronchial complaints, anxiety and irrational tension. Also a slowing of reactions was observed. Interestingly, it was discovered that in many people, the body’s initial response to positive ions is to produce adrenaline and noradrenaline – the “fight or flight” hormones – which produces short-term euphoria but eventually leads to a condition of exhaustion. (It is this condition that is thought to affect insects and animals into restless activity as the positive ions build up before a storm.) The research also showed that exposure to positive ions can trigger an over-production of histamine, which most people will immediately recognise as the body chemical that aggravates allergies. Statistically it was found that 25% of the population are quite strongly affected by levels of ions in the air. Of the remainder, 50% are affected considerably, although 25% do not appear sensitive at all.

A great deal of research was also carried out by Dr. Albert Krueger in California – One of his first discoveries was that a surprisingly small amount of negative ions could kill and take out of the air, the types of bacteria that cause colds, influenza and respiratory infections. He then went on to keep large groups of mice in various concentrations of ions, some positive, some negative and some in normal balance. In 1960 a scientific paper was published on the results. The conclusions were almost identical to those of Dr. Sulman. An excess of positive ions led to overproduction of serotonin which initially created hyperactivity, leading to exhaustion, anxiety and depression. He also found that an excess of negative ions appeared to have a calming effect, and a reducing of serotonin levels in the brain. (Negative ions were actually substituted for a pharmaceutical tranquiliser on one occasion – with identical results). The series of experiments were then extended to include rats, guinea pigs and rabbits as well as insects and plants. The results consistently supported the original findings. On one occasion, mice were kept in a sealed container until the oxygen was almost used up and they were on the verge of suffocation. The remaining air was negatively ionized – and the mice revived!

KING: We’re back with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of Transcendental Meditation, the author of “Science of Being and Art of Living,” which explains Transcendental Meditation. http://www.tm.org That book, released many years ago, has
been newly revised and updated.

How do you deal personally with sadness. George Harrison just died. I know he was a friend of yours. How do you deal when someone you love or like is gone?

MAHARISHI: It’s human nature to like those whom you like. And when they go it’s natural to be sad about them, but it is inevitable. It’s inevitable.

When I found Transcendental Meditation had done good for so many, so many, that now I’m thinking of, for the last two, three years, I’m thinking of nations as a whole. I want to make the destiny of every nation to be free from problems, to be free from suffering, to be free from sin.

I’m establishing a government in the world which will disallow the sprouting of negativity in any country, in any country.

Governments are a failure today. Absolutely every government is a failure, because problems exist everywhere and every government is sovereign. The word “sovereign” is a misnomer. Their sovereignty lies in – not able to give
a problem-free administration to the people.

I’m establishing a problem-free administration on the basis of the Constitution of the Universe. The Constitution of the Universe is total natural law. Natural law, we say from the field of science. Will of God, we say from the field of religion. It’s the same thing. Natural law administers the
infinite diversity of the universe. And I’m going to establish the government on the basis of this Cosmic Constitution of the Universe. Cosmic Constitution is a stable constitution.

Man-made constitution requires change every four years, five years. Election of the people. The whole thing is a fraudulent thing.

Administration is a matter of expert intelligence.

KING: But how…

MAHARISHI: It shouldn’t be exposed to voters on the street.

KING: How do you change a system of governments and nations and people who are opposed to one another and presidents and kings and emperors and dictators? How do you change that?

MAHARISHI: I’ll be establishing groups of people practicing Yogic Flying, and Vedic pundits performing the yagyas, which will eliminate the negative influence on life on earth.

This is how my plan is to improve the quality of life on the world by minimizing the negative influences from the sun, moon, stars, and from everywhere. So those groups we’ll be establishing – we’ll be establishing groups in every country.

I have already this other organization teaching TM Transcendental Meditation] in all the countries, and all the governments like it because it helps a better quality of life. Only we have to concentrate now, with the help of
each government, because nobody, no government wants chaos and problems and difficulties and crime in the country. That is a very good thing.

But because every government is governed by man-made constitutions, and man-made constitutions are full of human weaknesses and human failings, that is why I’m adopting the Constitution of the Universe, which is the will of God,
high above everything. Merciful nature of God, total value of natural law, which is profusely narrated and detailed in the Vedic literature, ancient Vedic literature, with all this total knowledge of natural law and the programs to eliminate any difficulty or problem that may be coming from anywhere. We don’t allow the problems. We create that shield, protect
ourselves. That is the Vedic way of life.

KING: Do you believe in perfection?

MAHARISHI: I’m bringing perfection in life. It’s not a matter of belief. I have the positive program and the concrete program to create perfection in life.

I want to create every government to be free from military. Military is a defeatist feature of a government. Government is not able to protect the nation, and therefore they engage the people, give them food that you will die for other people. The whole thing is absurd and inhuman.

I want to create a global government, a global government. I have created a country of global – Global Country of World Peace, where no one would harm anyone, where no one would do any wrong to anyone. The government will not
need a military to protect itself because the principle is that any military is a big sinner. And the sin must come to every – to the whole population.
