Sealand The Mystery Solved – Part One
Welcome to one of the few OFFICIAL short documentary programmes about the worlds smallest Principality The Principality of Sealand.

Commissioned by the Principality of Sealand itself and produced in 2003, this programme provides a fascinating insight into the operation, business, security, quality of life and many other aspects of this unique island fortress at that time.
Since its inception in the mid sixties of the last century, Sealand has gained a de facto recognition as being a legitimate Principality in the eyes of the diverse and far-reaching international community of states.
Formerly known as The Roughs Tower, Sealands superstructure comprises a man-made former World War 2 Navy Fortress that was sunk some 7 nautical miles off Harwich in the North Sea, off the coast of the UK.
Sitting firmly on its permanent pontoon base, it has its own territory that was declared and officially sealed in 1967, just before the British Government could change its legislation on UK Territorial Waters limits etc. in its hurried yet failed attempt to oust Sealand from any form of legitimate status!
The approximate location of the Principality is Latitude 51.53 N Longitude 01.28 E, in the Rough Shoals.
Although Sealand suffered a damaging fire in the middle of the last decade and the opportunity was taken to refurbish much of the island after that time, little has changed in Sealand since this programme was produced. However, the introduction of environmentally friendly wind turbine equipment for supplementary power-generation is one of the few significant enhancements out there in recent years.
So, come and take a look at this altogether unique, fascinating, remote and otherwise isolated place; a place like no other!

Sleeping eight to 10 hours in a night doesn’t ensure that you’ll have a good night’s rest. Yet, how is it that you can sometimes knock out only four or five hours and feel super refreshed by morning?

An NFL wide receiver came up to me one day complaining of not sleeping well, and it was affecting him at practice. He told me his wife is having a GREAT experience with their “Top of the line” brand of foam mattress … but he, is NOT. His number one complaint is, “It makes me so hot. I feel like I’m in a sauna.” Even with the AC cranking, all the covers end up on his wife’s side. Secondly, he said, “I feel like I’m in a hole, and when I try to roll over, I feel like I’m being pulled back in.” This perfect impression your body leaves in the foam is also known as “canyoning,” and it gets worse with the age of the mattress.

Some people have no problems with cravings and can ease on through the 21 days no problem. While others are Jonesin’ for sugar like a crack head lookin’ for a fix. While the reasons for this can be a bit more complex than expressed in this 3 minute Youtube clip (candida, parasites, food intolerances etc), it typically boils down to your body crying out for whole, dense, healing nutrition.
One way to deal with the sugar and carb cravings is to reframe in your mind what they really are. A cry for nutrition. Your body doesn’t really need that — insert junky, refined carb, or sugary food product here — it NEEDS dense nutrition. The craving is the body saying… “Hello! Where was the nutrition in that bagel? Okay then, I’m going to turn on the hunger/craving mechanisms to let you know that I didn’t get enough vitamins, minerals, protein, good fats and vitality from what you just ate. Now, we can stop this madness… all you have to do is swap out the refined carbs and sugary foods for a simple meal of protein and veggies and I’ll stop shouting at you!”
Once you feed your body in a way that is dense with nutrition your sugar and carb cravings start to disappear.

Mind, Body, Spirit – Bastyr University – Feb 1, 2010
The Bastyr University Center for Spirituality, Science and Medicine presented “Body, Mind, Spirit, Nature and Medicine: A Series of Conversations” early this year. This innovative series brings together Bastyr experts and leading local authorities on physical, mental and spiritual health to discuss how each focus area is vital to whole-person health and health care. The Feb. 1 event captured in this video covers “Mind” and features Bastyr University faculty member Brad Lichtenstein, ND; Seattle naturopathic physician Sheila Dunn-Merritt; and Robert V.
