In terms of quality of life: Britain VS America. Which is better?

For a Muslimah, Britain is pretty boring. And just in general, it’s a boring place to live. That’s my opinion anyway. Switzerland is a gorgeous place to live, so is India/Pakistan, and so is Sweden, and Morocco
Sica, you’re right there, we do have a decent healthcare system, as well as education system. And it’s fairly safe

Great Lakes – Quality of life Issues?

Why is the biggest threat to this natural resource still the two leg Monster known as MAN and not the Big Head Carp ?? Note: The lakes survived the Zebra Mussells and Gobbie’s !

You are correct, man has polluted and abused the great lakes for so long. They now don’t even resemble their pristine state. Most of the fish and other creatures in the lakes are non native already. Big deal if the carp take over. Salmon, alwives, gobys, mussels, none of them are native. Bring on the big heads, they may be fun and challenging to fish for.

Benefit Scrounger?…. Why do you not wnt a better quality of life why depend on the Nation 2 feed your faces?

I want people on Benefits to comment and answer to why they think it’s acceptable to never amount to something – especially when there are young girls and boys sacrificing their life in war at this very moment of time- who wont ever get as much as what you all get through your greedy little mits? Why do you not feel like scum when you sit do nothing, pop out kids in order to get more money from the social…. why are you not ashamed that decent, hard working people have to pay for your lazy cheap life style. These hard working people are not only doing it for their dignity but for their children to have a better life and show an example as before long this small little island called England will be crawling with fiends like you if we don’t show an example and how to get up of your arse and lift a finger. Its shocking and degrading but yet I am always confronted by horrible people who call this their life style. I do understand that there are people who need benefits but very few as for where I live, I don’t ever recall EVER coming across or hearing of person who 100% deserves benefits to not to work Ever or help in any way other than helping their selves!

It’s the same situation here in America. I personally am physically disabled due to a rather rare neurological condition. I worked full-time jobs for years and played sports (tennis was my best sport) – now I can barely walk.

So yeah, my life is essentially over at the mere age of 45. Not married, no kids popping out. (I do have women friends, but I have no intention of passing this genetic condition down to a child of mine).

I know people who are not disabled at all – yet they were approved for government benefits (usually by claiming ‘mental disability’). Where do those benefits go? In my experience, they go straight into the drug dealer’s pocket. Millions of dollars every month – and I see this happen EVERY month.

And America has the well-known problem of illegal Mexican immigrants – they come over here and get on welfare and suck off the system. It IS starting to get ridiculous. So that part is similar to your story. Obama and the Democrats are apparently all for such a system here in the USA – budget deficit or not. LOL
