What Will You Learn In Massage Therapy Class?
Enrolling in a massage therapy class is a good thing. In fact, if you are looking to become a provider of massages, then you’ll need this type of experience to improver you overall skill level. There are a number of different classes you’ll need to take to become certified, of course, and massage techniques will be the focus of each of those classes. But, many massage therapy schools are also providing more information and education to you beyond this. They are helping you to build the skill you need to be successful at what you want to do.
A massage therapy class will have the focus of teaching you to improve your massage techniques and skills. This means learning many different movements, improving your overall skill and learning when to give each type of massage. You’ll also learn a lot about the body, how it works and how a massage affects the systems in the body including muscle tissue, the circulatory system, the skin, and even the lymphatic system. The physical aspect of the classes that you take will be the most important for you to learn because it teaches you how to do what you are setting out to do.
In addition to this, you may want to consider other massage therapy classes as well. Many will offer you people skill training and customer service skills. Some will offer you the ability to start your own business by teaching you business administration and management skills. Even further, you’ll learn tools to increasing your business and how to manage the financial aspects of your business.
Look for a school that provides a certification in massage therapy. Look for one that offers a range of classes, each providing you with a bit of information and skill that you need to be successful in the massage world. It takes more than one massage therapy class to learn a skill to fund your life.

What would you be interested in learning in a professional massage therapy class?
I am the owner of a PROFESSIONAL massage therapy and wellness practice and we are going to start having couple’s massage classes. What would you be interested in learning if you were going to take a class?
Massage of Hands and Feet?
Stretching?
Full body massage?
if it was going to be a couples massage therapy class, i would love to know each others erogenous zones, and also the different types of massaging. like kneading and flat palmed- things of that nature. what types of oils you can use, what is the best way to approach a massage if the person needs to relieve pain from that area. what is the best postion for the person to be in for a massage in a certain area, like a shoulder massage- should they sit normally in a chair? sit straddled backward on chair? lay down on their stomach, etc. I would love to go to your class. especially if you were to mention ANY of these. I think it would be extremely helpful. Hope this gave you some great ideas! =)
