Im trying to decide what color theme to go with in my new room. I think Im going with a teal (teal bayou specifically for the Behr brand)
I have never had a colorful room as far as my walls go, and in general really..but im not afriad of color what so ever..
but I was researching color chakras and was wondering if anyone else has based their room choice on these ancient philosophies and seen acutal results…

Green=balance, love peace
red=vitality, energy, courage
indigo= intuition, imagination, understadning

i dont take it too literally but i was just wondering…

even if you have had an intense color on your walls before, have you liked it? does it really make you feel trapped in a small room like designers say?

the rest of my room is going to be airy, light window treaments, big window…

My bedroom is two shades of red — specifically "ponder" and "roasted pepper" by Behr. I chose red because in feng shui, the bedroom is in my love/marriage area and pink/red is supposed to enhance romance & passion.

I like it. I think it’s cozy, warm & intimate. It doesn’t feel cavernous at all, to me. Of course, the only time that I really spend in my room is while I’m sleeping or getting dressed.
