Author: im unsure how to give my life more vitality and meaning, 47 years old and im ready for a change of direction.
That is duality that limits reality. The mind thinks there is separation between subject and object, and presumes there is a ‘this’ different or separate from ‘that’. The energy of the universe is not separate from the content which includes humans. By the definition of universe we are the universe and the energy that makes it up. To separate the self from the universe is a dualistic error of the limitations of the mind, thus much of reality is obstructed by abstract thoughts and arbitrary concepts and terms.
Here is a change in direction. Remember the mind is like an umbrella, it works better when its open. I hope you enjoy these teachings.

Yes. Go lay out in the sun. It’s free, and the warnings about skin cancer are greatly exaggerated.
Better yet, forget about laying out in the sun, and get on a bike instead for a nice ride out there. I’m 47 also, and my life changed when I discovered rails-to-trails about 15 years ago. By now I feel like my life is about bike rides, and everything else is just passing the time between.
I just got back from a great ride.
