    if you had diabetes …
if you had diabetes, you wouldn’t think of skipping meds, so why is it, that people still think it is a weakness to take meds.
I was 34 before I began taking lexapro, and my life became enjoyable afterwards. I was successful in managing a full-time career, and raising 2 children on my own. I could handle anything that was given to me, but I could never relax. I have always exercised, and I eat very healhty. Chemical imbalances are real.

  • gg06287:

    I was always …
I was always anxious, but wasn’t diagnosed until age 34 (8 years). Immediately after taking lexapro, my life became enjoyable for the first time. I use to exercise everyday, and I couldn’t sleep. I appeared to be a successful person, however, I was anxiety ridden 2 hrs a day. If you don’t live it, you don’t understand.

Yeah, I got a huge fear of flying things like bees, wasps, yellowjackets and anything that buzzes.

I may have PTSD since I was in a car accident in 2003 and I get so freaking scared when I’m in a passenger seat-and I’m not driving the car. Anyone that knows me will tell you that I go way over board when they come to a stop sign or a stop light-I try to push myself away from the dashboard. I hate being a passenger in a car.

    You know, exercise …
You know, exercise would probably help what they are talking about…I have GAD and I was diagnosed with that back in 2003. I know that I feel so good after-due to those endorphins…I do not know if exericse will take away my GAD though.

I got anxiety disorders from being injected with an ANTI ANXIETY drug called Midazolam/Versed. Why they did this when I wasn’t anxious in the first place is a mystery to me. Now I have to live with PTSD. Thanks Doctors, nurses, CRNA’s and all the rest of you people who play with people’s brains for your own gratification.
