How would you deal with intense stress?

We are having lots of stress recently (who dose not , ha???) ,mostly finance stress, and I am looking to find ways to release this stress. I was wondering if you could share with me some of your ways to reduce this stress somehow . It became so intense that it causes me headaches, sleepless nights and lots of tension. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

No matter what kind of yoga you choose to do, make an intentional decision to work with your stress levels while doing yoga. Just the act of making a committed effort to fighting stress will help.

Choose between a yoga class and a home series of exercises. Consider your exercising preferences: do you like to exercise by yourself or do you prefer a social environment with more people? Both options have plenty of benefits and provide a stress-relieving workout and so this step concerns your own personal preference.

Determine if yoga classes at a gym or a studio will fit your needs. Gym memberships and yoga classes can be costly but classes often meet at various times of day for varying lengths of time at different levels of ability. One-on-one time with instructors that are specially trained to teach yoga can help you with many details of your practice, including how to maximize anti-stress efforts.

Opt to purchase a DVD or video that takes you through all the postures in the comfort of your own home. Some videos are designed with stressful practitioners in mind and will speak directly to the problem of stress. Just make sure you choose something within your skill level.

    I pray.
To ease the physical pain, I consciously relax, like we learned in prenatal classes, take a warm bath, and call my mom or good friend.
We’ve had financial stress in the last few months, too, and I dealt with it also by just doing what I could, like not buying those things we don’t really need. Just do what you can, give the rest to God, and don’t fret about the stuff you can’t change.

Exercise is great, dancing especially – if you like it. Meditation and this massage combined also tend to help: http://stress-help-guide.com/stress-therapy-massage-exercise/
